The incident took place in Hartford County around midnight in Southington on Thursday, Oct. 27. According to Lt. CT Woman Killed In Single-Vehicle Crash After Hitting Stone Wall A woman was killed in a single-vehicle crash after her SUV left the roadway and hit a stone wall in Fairfield County, said authorities. The fatal crash, which killed a 52-year-old, took place Tuesday, July 13, on Lake Avenue in Greenwich. According to Slusarz, a 2013 Chevy Suburban was traveling north on Lake Avenue between Round Hill Road and Parsonage Road when it left the roadway and struck a stone wall and tree, said Greenwich PD Lt. Police Seek Answers In One-Car Fatal Crash State troopers are seeking out any motorists who witnessed a fatal one-car accident in Waterbury.  According to police, 46-year-old William Joyner of Waterbury drifted across the northbound lane of Waterbury Road on Saturday, Sept. 19 at approximately 10 p.m., hitting a large brick business display head-on.
