Suspect In Shooting Allegedly Pulls Gun On Police In Meriden A man allegedly pulled a gun on Meriden Police Tuesday, Sept. 22, following a confrontation with a shooting suspect. Elimelec Adorno, was arrested Sept. 22, on the charges of interfering with police, weapons in a motor vehicle, carrying a pistol without a permit, and possession of a high capacity magazine, police said. At around 9:15 a.m. on Tuesday, police responded to a report of shots fired in the area of Crescent and Akron streets in Meriden.
