Lanes Reopen After I-95 Crash In CT This story has been updated. Lanes on a stretch of I-95 have reopened after being closed most of Saturday morning, June 18 following a tractor-trailer crash. The crash happened southbound between exits 14 and 13 at 5 a.m.  A tractor-trailer truck in the breakdown lane was waiting to have a tire repaired when another tractor-trailer struck it, Norwalk Fire Department Deputy Chief Edward Prescott said.  The crash ruptured the diesel saddle tank of the disabled truck and spilled the vegetable contents of the other truck across the highway, Prescott said. Fire Breaks Out At Home Attached To Strip Mall In CT A house attached to the rear of a strip mall was heavily damaged during an early-morning fire in Fairfield County. The blaze broke out at 2 a.m., Monday, Feb. 28 at 172 Main St., in Norwalk. Responding firefighters encountered heavy smoke pushing from the attic of the two-story home located in the rear of the strip mall on the corner of Main and Center Avenue, said Deputy Chief Edward Prescott of the Norwalk Fire Department.
