The two vehicles were stolen overnight on May 15 or May 16 in the Lower Easton area, said the Easton Police Department. One vehicle was located due to a GPS device, police said. Officers said residents should do the "9 P.M." routine where they lock all vehicles and doors to their homes at 9 p.m. each night.  In addition, if you have a GPS location device in your vehicle, make sure it is active.

CT Man Sentenced For Recording Repeated Sexual Abuse Of A Child A 42-year-old Fairfield County man has been sentenced to decades in prison for producing photographs and videos documenting his sexual abuse of a child. Robert McGuire, of Easton, was sentenced on Tuesday, Feb. 1, to 30 years in prison followed by a lifetime term of supervised release, according to Leonard Boyle, United States attorney for the District of Connecticut. McGuire pleaded guilty to one count of production of child pornography on June 8, Boyle said. CT Man Accused Of Producing Images Of Child Sex Abuse A Fairfield County man faces up to 30 years in prison after being busted on child pornography charges. Easton resident Robert McGuire, 41, has been arrested and charged by a federal grand jury with the production of child pornography on multiple occasions over the course of more than two years. The indictment alleges that McGuire produced images of child pornography between February 2018 and June this year. The investigation into McGuire was led by the FBI and Easton Police Department.
