Marshalls Opening New Store In CT Just in time for holiday shopping, Marshalls, one of the nation’s leading off-price retailers with more than 20 stores in Connecticut is opening a new location in Fairfield County. Located in Ridgefield in the Copps Hill Plaza on Danbury Road, the grand opening is set for Thursday, Nov. 16 from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m., said Cassidy Kelly, a spokeswoman for the Massachusetts-based company. One Killed, Two Injured In Connecticut Crash, Police Say A Fairfield County man was killed and two others injured during an early morning crash. The crash took place around 1:40 a.m., Saturday, Sept. 25 on Danbury Road near the intersection of Route 35 in Ridgefield. According to Captain Shawn Platt of the Ridgefield Police Department, said Nicholas Vega, age 25, of Danbury, was killed during the crash. Jeep At CT Auto Dealership Hit During Two-Vehicle Crash A new Jeep Grand Cherokee sitting on the lot of a Fairfield County car dealership ended up damaged during a two-vehicle crash. The incident took place around 7 a.m., Tuesday, May 4, on Danbury Road in Ridgefield when a woman was swerving to avoid another vehicle pulling into her lane of travel and ended up entering the lot of Pamby Motors and hitting the vehicle, said Captain Shawn Platt of the Ridgefield Police.
