3-Year Bridge Replacement Over I-95 To Snag Traffic In Westchester A three-year project to replace a bridge over I-95 in Westchester County will cause various delays and closures until it is completed.  The project, which will cost $31.8 million, will replace the 65-year-old North Avenue Bridge in New Rochelle that travels over I-95, according to the New York Thruway Authority.  The bridge is currently estimated to be used by an average of 20,000 drivers per day and connects North Avenue, Garden Street, and Burling Lane. Here's When New Bridge Replacement Project Will Start On I-95 Stretch The replacement of a bridge over I-95 will necessitate a long-term detour and cost nearly $1,500,000, according to the Connecticut Department of Transportation.  The overpass bridge in Westport on Beachside Avenue will be closed to traffic from approximately Monday, Jan. 4, 2021 until September, 2021, according to project manager Louis Eveno.  The multi steel girder bridge slated for replacement was built in 1958, and has reportedly deteriorated over time.
