Two Dead After Fire Breaks Out At Multi-Family Waterbury Home Two Connecticut men were killed during an intense fire at a multi-family home. The fire took place in New Haven County in Waterbury around 3 a.m., Tuesday, May 3 on Arch Street. According to Waterbury Deputy Fire Chief Kenneth Tamborra, when the first firefighters arrived on the scene the fire was so intense that windows were blowing out of the second floor. Waterbury Man Dead, Dog Shot In Face, Police Say Police in Connecticut are attempting to figure out if shootings that left a man dead and a dog injured are related.  The first incident took place around 3 p.m., Monday, Aug. 23, in New Haven County when the Waterbury Police Department was dispatched to a shots fired call in the area of Arch Street.  Prior to the officer’s arrival, they were notified by dispatch that a dog inside the residence was shot, said Sgt.
