Jailed Shelton Man Calls Protected Victim 70 Times, Police Say A Shelton man behind bars for violating a protective order was arrested again while in jail for having contact with the protected person 70 times on the phone. Gordon Cole, age 27, was arrested on Tuesday, March 27 by Shelton Police for violation of a protective order and remained incarcerated on an additional $10,000 bond. Cole was previously arrested in Shelton in December 2022 for several domestic violence charges including seven counts of violation of a protective order, said Det. CT Man Wanted For Police Pursuit, Nabbed With Gun, Drugs, Police Say A Connecticut 26-year-old man wanted for allegedly taking police on a pursuit was nabbed at an area mall with a gun, drugs, and counterfeit money. Kayvon McCoy, of New Haven, was arrested on Tuesday, March 14 after a Milford police officer recognized a vehicle in the parking lot of the Connecticut Post Mall from the pursuit, Milford Police said.  McCoy had an active arrest warrant stemming from the incident. CT Man Arrested For Preventing Uber Driver From Leaving, Police Say An area man has been arrested for allegedly preventing a person he had a domestic dispute with from leaving with an Uber driver.  Fairfield County resident Timothy Flay, age 23, of Norwalk, was arrested on Saturday, Aug. 14 by Darien Police for not allowing an Uber driver to leave with a paying customer, said Sgt. James Palmieri.
