CT Teen Fighting For Life After Being Shot At School Bus Stop, Police Say A Fairfield County teen is fighting for his life after being shot while waiting at a school bus stop for his young cousin. The incident took place around 4 p.m. Wednesday, Nov 3 at the intersection of Trumbull and Reservoir avenues in Bridgeport. According to Detective Thomas Harper of the Bridgeport Police, the 19-year-old was waiting for his 9-year-old cousin at the bus stop on Trumbull Avenue when a vehicle drove up and someone inside shot him, causing life-threatening injuries. Cash, Dirt Bike Stolen In Separate Incidents To Sell Items In CT Police in one Fairfield County city are warning residents to be careful where they conduct personal sales after one person was robbed of cash and a dirt bike was stolen in another. The incident both took place on Monday, Sept. 27, in Bridgeport, said Scott Appleby, director of Emergency Management. The first theft took place around 4:30 p.m. in the 500 block of Trumbull Avenue when a man told Bridgeport police that he was supposed to meet two men to purchase a vehicle.
