Duo Nabbed After Shots Fired During New Haven Bar Fight
Two Connecticut men have been charged in connection with a shooting at a group of people during an argument at a bar. The incident occurred in New Haven around 2 a.m., Saturday, March 2 at the Taurus B Cafe in the area of Thompson Street and Division Divison Street. 19-Year-Old Charged In 'Senseless' Stabbing Death Of CT Man
A 19-year-old Connecticut man has been charged with murder in what police are calling a "senseless" act of violence. The stabbing death of New Haven County resident Justin Sloan Sr., age 44, of Meriden, took place around 6:20 p.m., Saturday, July 8 in Meriden. According to Meriden Polie, officers responded to the area of the 800 block of Hanover Road for a report of a man lying in the roadway. Officers discovered a man with suspected stab wounds. Man Barricaded In Home Leads To Shelter-In-Place Order On CT Street
An armed Connecticut man who barricaded himself inside a home with a family member for more than a day and a half has killed himself, according to police. The New Haven County incident began in Guilford on Wednesday, April 13, when the fire department was called to a home on Durham Road. When firefighters arrived on the scene they found smoke and a man armed with two "long-type" guns who threatened them, said Guilford Police Chief Warren “Butch” Hyatt.
