Man Struck By Police Vehicle Outside Local CT PD Station, Cops Say A Fairfield County man was injured after being struck by a police vehicle in front of a local department's headquarters. The incident took place in New Canaan around 9 p.m., Monday, June 27 in front of the New Canaan Police Department at 156 South Ave. The New Canaan Police vehicle was exiting the parking lot of 156 South Ave., to turn right onto South Avenue to head north, said Lt. Road-Rage Incident Leads To DUI Charge For CT Man, Police Say A Fairfield County man has been accused of driving under the influence following a road-rage incident. Michael James Slocum, age 32, of Stamford, was arrested on Tuesday, Aug. 31, after officers in New Canaan were dispatched to the area of South Avenue and Farm Road on a report of a road rage incident that had occurred between two motorists.
