CT Boy Shot On Street Walks To Hospital, Police Say A Connecticut juvenile boy who was shot on a street walked to the hospital after being hit, police said. The incident took place in New Haven around 4:30 a.m. on Sunday, Sept. 10 in the area of Printers Lane. According to Sgt. Cherelle Carr of the New Haven Police, the juvenile was on Printers Lane when he was shot in the abdomen. The boy, whose age was not provided, then walked to Yale New Haven Hospital on York Street with non-life-threatening injuries, she added. The incident took place in New Haven around 2:30 a.m., Sunday, July 23 at Ella T. Grasso Boulevard and Printers Lane. CT Moped Driver Killed In Crash, Police Say A 35-year-old Connecticut man driving a moped was killed during a crash with a Nissan. The crash took place in New Haven around 5:40 a.m., Sunday, July 31 on Ella T. Grasso Boulevard. When officers responded to the scene, located between Adeline Street and Printers Lane, they found the driver of the moped, identified as Antonio Cruz-Oritz, of New Haven unresponsive, said Sgt. Scott Shumway, of the New Haven Police. American Medical Response transported Cruz-Ortiz to Yale New Haven Hospital where he died from his injuries, Shumway said.
