Man Struck, Killed On Busy Waterbury Roadway A pedestrian was hit and killed by a vehicle on a busy Connecticut roadway. The crash occurred in New Haven County around 10 a.m., Saturday, May 11, at 836 East Main St., in Waterbury. According to Lt. Ryan Bessette of the Waterbury Police, the man sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead on the scene. The motor vehicle driver remained on the scene and was not injured.  Bessette said that the pedestrian had been identified as an adult male. Woman Killed In Hit-Run Crash In CT, Police Say A pedestrian was struck and killed by a hit-and-run driver in Connecticut late on Wednesday, May 18, police said. In New Haven County, a pedestrian was walking at approximately 10 p.m. on Wednesday, May 18 along the 200 block of Paradise Avenue in Hamden when she was struck. Officers from the Hamden Police Department responded to the scene at approximately 10:15 p.m. on Wednesday night, where they found a 37-year-old woman who had been hit by a driver who left the area. Man Struck, Killed By Vehicle On Busy CT Roadway, Police Say A man was killed after being hit by a Toyota Avalon along a busy Connecticut roadway. The incident took place around 12:15 a.m., Sunday, Jan. 23, in New Haven County in the area of Thomaston Avenue, in Waterbury. When officers arrived on the scene they found a 60-year-old man who had been struck by the vehicle, said Lt. Robert Davis, of the Waterbury Police.
