Griffin Friday, said on Friday, Jan. 5 that  Michael Mastronardi, age 49, of Shelton, was sentenced to a three-year suspended sentence after pleading guilty to one count of cruelty to persons. Former CT Superintendent Sentenced To Prison For Environmental Crimes A former public works superintendent in Fairfield County has been sentenced to prison for committing environmental crimes and conspiring with others to defraud. Scott Bartlett, age 61, of Fairfield, was sentenced to 15 years in prison on Friday, Dec. 1, suspended after five years and five years of probation, said Chief State’s Attorney Patrick J. Griffin.
