It happened just after midnight on Friday, Aug. 18 in Manchester, according to Connecticut State Police. Troopers saw Bonifilio Ortiz-Perez, who turned 21 in July, driving west in the eastbound lanes of Interstate 384 near exit 4. Once pulled over, officers began to suspect that Ortiz-Perez was under the influence, and a sobriety test allegedly confirmed this. Officers Injured After CT Man Tries To Ram Their Car, Police Say Two police officers from the region were injured during the takedown of an area drug dealer. Alfonso “Heat” Lewis, age 37, of Stamford, was arrested on Thursday, Oct. 28, as part of a weeks-long investigation into drug sales in the city's West Side neighborhood, said Captain Richard Conklin, of the Stamford Police.
