Corrections Officer Charged With Murder Of Middlefield Man In Road Rage Shooting, Police Say A 32-year-old Connecticut corrections officer has been charged with the alleged murder of another man during a road-rage incident. William Lucky Jr., of North Haven, turned himself in to Connecticut State Police on Tuesday, Jan. 23 for the shooting which took place on I-691 on Jan. 14 in Meriden. According to the arrest warrant and information from State Police, Lucky admitted to shooting Middlesex County resident Scott Kracke, age 49, of Middlefield, during a confrontation on the side of I-691 in Meriden after a road rage incident. Middlefield Man Shot, Killed In Road-Rage Incident On I-691 A 49-year-old CT man was shot and killed during a road-rage incident. Middlesex County resident Scott Kracke, of Middlefield, died of a gunshot wound around 8 p.m., Sunday, Jan. 14 in New Haven County, on I-691 eastbound in Meriden. Connecticut State troopers responded to a report of a disturbance near Exit 2A. State police said when troopers arrived, they found Kracke with gunshot wounds.
