CT Woman Stopped For Traffic On I-95 Killed In 3-Vehicle Crash A 78-year-old Connecticut woman was killed in a three-vehicle crash on I-95. The collision took place on I-95 northbound just north of Exit 91 in New London County around 11:50 a.m., Thursday, Jan. 11 in Stonington. According to Connecticut State Police, a 22-year-old man was driving a Mazda CX-5 on the left of two lanes when he struck the back of a Honda Civic that was stopped for traffic congestion, sending the Honda off the right side of the road and into a ditch. Man Drives Wrong Way To Pass CT State Trooper While Under Influence, Police Report A 49-year-old man was accused of driving under the influence after police said he crossed into the wrong lane to pass a Connecticut State Police trooper who was on patrol. The incident happened in New London at about 1 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 21, Connecticut State Police said. A trooper was patrolling I-95 northbound on the Gold Star Bridge when a 2000 Toyota Camry passed him by traveling south in the northbound lanes, police said. CT Man Nabbed For Car Theft From DNA Left On Glove, Police Say A Fairfield County teen has been arrested for allegedly stealing a vehicle after leaving behind a glove that had his DNA on it. Charles Daniel, age 19, of Norwalk, was arrested on Tuesday, Nov. 9, for the incident which took place in June in Darien. According to Darien Police, officers responded to McLaren Road for a report of a stolen 2014 Nissan Rogue. About a week later the Rogue was found on I-95 northbound near exit 5, police said.
