Western Mass Man Killed In Crash, Dragged By Bear Remembered By Friends As 'Unique Soul' You may have heard about Daniel Ducharme's death.  The 31-year-old was killed in Western Massachusetts on Sunday, May 5, after he lost control of his car and crashed in Hampshire County in the town of Hatfield. Fairfield County Man Killed In I-91 Crash, State Police Say A Fairfield County man was killed in a crash on I-91 south after hitting the rear of a commercial vehicle and losing control, authorities said. Jeremy Bischoff, age 34, of Shelton, was killed early Monday, June 27 in New Haven County in Wallingford. Bischoff was driving a 2016 Kia Soul in the center lane on I-91 southbound around 2 a.m. when he hit the back of a commercial vehicle and lost control, said the Connecticut State Police.
