CT Husband, Father Dies In ATV Crash: 'His Life Was Full Of Potential' A Connecticut family is mourning the loss of a beloved husband and expectant father who was killed in an ATV crash. Fairfield County resident Andrii Yavorskyi, age 30, of Norwalk, died in the wreck that happened Friday, Oct. 27, in New York, according to New York State Police. An investigation determined that he was operating a Polaris Sportsman ATV in Boonville in Oneida County when he lost control on a sharp curve. He then drove off the roadway and was ejected when the vehicle overturned. Yavorskyi was pronounced dead at the scene, troopers said. According to investigators, he was not …

Father Of 12-Year-Old Killed In Shooting Also Gunned Down On Hartford Street The father of a 12-year-old Connecticut girl who was killed after being shot twice on a city street also died after being shot a decade before. Hartford County resident Se’Cret Pierce, of Hartford, was shot twice around 8:40 p.m. on Thursday, April 20 at 48 Huntington St., said Lt. Aaron Boisvert, of the Hartford Police. When Hartford Police arrived on the scene, they found an 18-year-old man shot, as well as Se'Cret who had been shot in the head and abdomen, Boisvert said. Thousands Of Dollars Raised For Funeral Of 21-Year-Old Fatally Shot In CT Members of the community have raised thousands of dollars for the funeral services of a 21-year-old woman who was fatally shot in Connecticut. The Hartford Police Department reported that Allison McCoy, of Hartford, was pronounced dead after she was found at an apartment on Evergreen Avenue on Monday, Feb. 7, with multiple gunshot wounds.  Another woman was also injured in the shooting, police reported.
