Two Students Injured During CT School Bus Crash, Police Say Two schoolchildren were hospitalized following a school bus crash which also injured the driver in Fairfield County. It happened just after 3 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 9 in the Town of Fairfield on Mountain Laurel road near Stroll Rock Common,  First responders reported the school bus struck a tree and the bus was transporting four Fairfield School children at the time of the collision, said Fairfield PD Lt.
