But that's about to change as an approaching front will bring showers along with strong thunderstorms accompanied by damaging wind gusts and heavy downpours. The time frame for the storm system is late Saturday afternoon, Oct. 16 into Saturday evening. Friday, Oct. 15 will be mostly sunny with a high temperature in the upper 70s and calm winds.
