CT Boy Shot On Street Walks To Hospital, Police Say A Connecticut juvenile boy who was shot on a street walked to the hospital after being hit, police said. The incident took place in New Haven around 4:30 a.m. on Sunday, Sept. 10 in the area of Printers Lane. According to Sgt. Cherelle Carr of the New Haven Police, the juvenile was on Printers Lane when he was shot in the abdomen. The boy, whose age was not provided, then walked to Yale New Haven Hospital on York Street with non-life-threatening injuries, she added. CT Moped Driver Killed In Crash, Police Say A 35-year-old Connecticut man driving a moped was killed during a crash with a Nissan. The crash took place in New Haven around 5:40 a.m., Sunday, July 31 on Ella T. Grasso Boulevard. When officers responded to the scene, located between Adeline Street and Printers Lane, they found the driver of the moped, identified as Antonio Cruz-Oritz, of New Haven unresponsive, said Sgt. CT Woman 34, Killed After Crashing Into Tree, Police Say A 34-year-old Connecticut woman was killed after crashing her Kia into a tree. The victim died around 1:30 a.m., Wednesday, Feb. 23, after crashing her white Kia into the tree on Whalley Avenue in New Haven.
