The first shooting took place in New Haven around 5:40 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 22 in the area of Huntington and Dixwell Avenues. New Haven Police received two ShotSpotter notifications of shots fired in the area of Huntington Avenue and Dixwell Avenue, said, Capt. Rose Dell, of the New Haven Police. Unidentified Man Found Shot On New Haven Street, Police Say Police in Connecticut are seeking the public's help after an unidentified man was found shot on a city street. The incident took place in New Haven around 6:30 p.m., Wednesday, March 15 in the area of Dixwell Avenue near West Hazel Street. Drunk CT Woman Punches Restaurant Employee, Throws Glasses, Police Say A Connecticut woman has been arrested after becoming unruly at a TGI Friday's allegedly throwing glasses and punching a restaurant employee while drunk. Wisdom South, age 25, of New Haven, was arrested on Monday, Oct. 11, after Hamden Police in New Haven County responded to the restaurant located on Dixwell Avenue for a report of an intoxicated patron who was out of control.
