Old Saybrook Student Accused Of Making Threats Against Staff Member, School A Connecticut middle school student has been charged with making threats against a staff member and against the school. The incident took place in Middlesex County on Wednesday, May 25 in Old Saybrook. The unidentified teen was arrested after Old Saybrook Police received an anonymous complaint about a student making concerning remarks in the past about "shooting up a staff member" and "blowing up" the middle school, said Chief Michael A.
