The incidents took place in New Haven on Monday, Sept. 4 beginning around 9:30 p.m. and running into early Tuesday, Sept. 5. Omar Nelson was arrested in Bridgeport on Thursday, May 4 for the Wednesday, Jan. 4 murder of 30-year-old Kentel Robinson at approximately 6 a.m., according to the New Haven Police Department. Woman Struck, Killed By CT Transit Bus A Connecticut woman was hit and killed by a bus. The crash took place around 6:45 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 21, in New Haven. New Haven Police responded to a motor vehicle crash involving a pedestrian being struck by a CT Transit bus, on Chapel Street, between Orange Street and Church Street.
