Recall Issued For Pork Sausage Products Due To Possible Presence Of Metal A Long Island company has recalled pork sausage products that may be contaminated with metal. America New York Ri Wang Food Group Co., a Long Island-based establishment located in Bay Shore, is recalling about 14,635 pounds of ready-to-eat sausage sticks and luncheon loaf products, the United States Department of Agriculture's Food Safety and Inspection Service announced on Wednesday, May 18. The recalled products were produced between Tuesday, April 5, and Thursday, May 5. Charles Entenmann, Who Turned NY Bakery Into National Brand, Dies Charles Entenmann, who helped turn his family's Long Island bakery into a national brand, has died at the age of 92. Entenmann died peacefully on Thursday, Feb. 24, according to his obituary. He is survived by his daughter, Susan Nalewajk, his son, Charles W. Entenmann, and his seven grandchildren, his obituary reads. Entenmann, along with his two brothers and his mother, worked together to expand their family bakery, located in Bay Shore. Kennedy International Airport in Queens, federal officials announced.
