Man, Woman Nabbed After Stealing Vehicle With Service Dog Inside In CT: Police A man and woman were apprehended after stealing a vehicle with a service dog inside in Fairfield County. Just before 5 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 25 in Stamford, officers responded to a report of a stolen vehicle on the west side of the city.  The vehicle, which was left running, was stolen from Richmond Hill Avenue. Upon taking the report from the owner, officers learned that the stolen vehicle was occupied by a small service dog. 9 Teens Charged After Large Fight In CT Nine teens have been issued summonses in connection with a large fight on a city street in Fairfield County. The incident took place in Stamford on Wednesday, Sept. 28 around 12:45 p.m. near the intersection of Broad and Atlantic streets. According to Capt. Diedrich Hohn, of the Stamford Police, the department was alerted to a large group of 30 people fighting near the intersection of Broad and Atlantic streets. Person Struck By Car At Busy CT Intersection A pedestrian was hit by a car in Fairfield County during the early-morning hours. The crash took place around 6:45 a.m., Wednesday, Sept. 29 on Atlantic and Henry streets in Stamford, police said. The pedestrian was taken to the hospital with minor injuries, Stamford Police said. The area was closed for an investigation but reopened a short time later. The cause of the crash is being investigated.
