Hit-Run Crash: Man Seriously Injured In CT A man was seriously injured after being struck by a hit-and-run driver in Fairfield County. The incident occurred in Danbury around 8:15 p.m., Wednesday, April 3 in the area of 9A Clapboard Ridge Road. When officers arrived, they found the man in the roadway with serious injuries, said Erin Henry, spokesperson for the Danbury Police Department. The victim has not yet been identified by police. Henry said the vehicle fled from the area before police arrived and has not been identified. The man was transported to the Danbury Hospital for treatment of serious injuries.  Clapboard Ridg…

39-Year-Old Killed In 2-Vehicle CT Crash A 39-year-old Connecticut man was killed in a two-vehicle crash on a busy roadway. David Sanabria, age 39, of Plainville, was killed around 6:20 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 27, in Southington. According to Lt. Keith Egan of the Southington Police, said officers responded to 279 Queen St., for a report of a collision between a motorcycle and a car. An investigation has revealed that Sanabria was driving a 2016 Guzzi Moto motorcycle northbound on Queen Street. One Killed In CT Two-Vehicle Crash, Police Say One person was killed in a two-vehicle crash in Fairfield County. It took place in Westport around 4:20 p.m., Monday, May 23 at 294 Saugatuck Ave. The first police and fire personnel to arrive found that two cars collided causing extensive damage to both, said Lt. David Wolf, of the Westport Police. Both drivers, the sole occupants of both vehicles, sustained injuries, Wolf said. An individual in one of the cars was conscious and able to speak with emergency responders, he said. That person was extricated by firefighters and transported to the hospital for treatment. …
