Most of the region will see 12 to 18 inches of snow with locally higher amounts of 18 to 24 hours in some parts of the New York metro area and throughout New England. Brand-New Snowfall Projections Released For Powerful Nor'easter With Updated Timing For Storm One of the most potent snowstorms in several years is set to slam the area with the brand-new models calling for a foot or more of accumulation for most of the region and wind gusts of up to 45 miles per hour that could cause power outages.
