$50,000 Reward Being Offered In Connecticut Double Homicide Case
Connecticut officials are offering a $50,000 reward in the 2011 double homicide in Fairfield County that left a man and woman in their 20s dead.
On Saturday, Aug. 6, 2011, the Norwalk Police Department responded to the incident that occurred on Avenue B in Norwalk.
Rickita Smalls, age 22, and Iroquois Alston, age 27, both of Bridgeport, were found dead in a small dark car awkwardly parked on Avenue B, said Norwalk Police Lt. Terrence Blake.

A second man has been charged in the 2018 shooting death of a 16-year-old Connecticut boy.
The Stamford Police Department Major Crimes Unit arrested John Montero-Delossantos, age 21, of Stamford, on Tuesday, May 11, for the death of Marcus Hall, age 16, who was gunned down on the night of Sept. 20, 2018, authorities announced.
Montero-Delossantos, aka "Gotti," was charged with murder and conspiracy to commit murder, said Stamford Police Lt. Tom Scanlon.

Covid-19: Stamford, With 1,113 Confirmed Cases, Likely Experiencing Peak Transmission Now
The number from state health officials shows that the number of cases of COVID-19 cases continues to spike in Stamford with a growth of 113 cases in just two days.
As of late Thursday, April 9, Stamford has 1,113 confirmed cases of COVID-19, compared to 1,000 confirmed cases on April 7, city officials said.
There have been 24 recorded deaths related to the pandemic in Stamford, officials said.
On Friday, April 10, city officials said in its daily newsletter that the city is "is likely experiencing peak transmission of COVID-19 right now. Please stay home and avoid contact with others."
