Police are asking the public for help identifying a man who allegedly attempted to enter several vehicles at a train station and stole items. The incident took place in Norwalk at the South Norwalk Train Station around 3 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 3. According to Sgt. Nine suspects ages 12 to 20 have been charged in connection with a series of attempted burglaries of homes and garages and thefts of vehicles in Fairfield County. Police are reminding residents to lock their vehicles after two vehicles were stolen overnight in Fairfield County. The two vehicles were stolen overnight on May 15 or May 16 in the Lower Easton area, said the Easton Police Department. One vehicle was located due to a GPS device, police said. Officers said residents should do the "9 P.M." routine where they lock all vehicles and doors to their homes at 9 p.m. each night.
