Expect Delays: Lane Closure Planned For Stretch Of I-84 State officials have advised motorists to expect delays due to a planned lane closure on a stretch of I-84 in the area. The New York State Department of Transportation said Dutchess County motorists should expect one lane to close on I-84 eastbound and westbound, between Exit 46 (US Route 9) in East Fishkill and Exit 44 (State Route 52) in Fishkill. The closure is set to take place between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. on Wednesday, June 29, to accommodate bridge work, officials said.

Scheduled road work on Interstate 84 near the Town of Fishkill will have one lane closed in either direction near Fishkill Creek, according to the Department of Transportation. Man Nabbed For DUI After Crash Causing Hours-Long I-91 Closure, CT State Police Say A major Connecticut roadway was shut down for more than two hours after an alleged drunk driver lost control of his tractor-trailer and smashed into several guide rails. The crash took place around 8 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 13 in New Haven County on I-91 in Wallingford. Man Found Dead Inside Parked Car At Busy CT Intersection The discovery of a Connecticut man found dead inside a parked car has partially closed two busy roadways at a busy intersection.  The 26-year-old man was found Monday morning, April 5, in the area of River and Daniel St., in Milford, said Milford Police Officer Michael DeVito. DeVito, who said the death did not appear "criminal in nature," added that the two roads were partially closed to allow for an investigation. New exit numbers and signs are being posted, starting today Monday, Dec. 7, along Routes 9, 17, and 82. The new signs will connect motorists to I-95 and I-84, and Route 154, among other places.
