Tractor-Trailer Fire Causes Delays On I-95, CT State Police Report
Authorities reported heavy delays on I-95 in Connecticut due to a tractor-trailer fire. The tractor-trailer fire happened in New London County on the northbound highway near Exit 73 in East Lyme, Connecticut State Police reported at about 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, May 10. Tractor-Trailer Fire Causes Power Outage At CT Stop & Shop
A tractor-trailer caught fire after it was tangled in low-hanging power lines, causing outages to area homes and businesses. Stop & Shop on Fairfield Avenue in Bridgeport was among those left in the dark at approximately 3:15 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 9, when a truck caught fire on Spruce Street near the intersection of Albion Street. I-84 Stretch Reopens After Tractor-Trailer Fire
This story has been updated. A stretch of I-84 has reopened after a tractor-trailer fire caused its closure. The westbound lanes were shut down in Northern Fairfield County between Exits 5 and 4 in Danbury early Friday afternoon, July 17. Eastbound traffic in the area was stop-and-go due to rubbernecking delays.
