A 24-year-old Connecticut man was killed after he veered off I-95 and hit the back of a parked tractor-trailer. The New Haven County crash happened around 3:15 a.m. Tuesday, June 18, in Branford. According to Connecticut State Police, the tractor-trailer was parked just past a rest area on the shoulder when Josiah Lawrence Steinman, of New Haven, driving a 2019 Nissan Sentra north in the right lane, veered onto the shoulder "for an unknown reason," slamming into the back of the truck. A Connecticut State Police trooper was injured after an overnight crash that caused a three-hour closure on a stretch of I-84. It happened in Fairfield County just after 9 p.m. Friday, June 14, in Danbury. Police are investigating after a 74-year-old Connecticut man was killed during a two-vehicle crash in the Hudson Valley. The incident occurred in Dutchess County at the intersection of Route 22 and Route 55 in the town of Dover, a hamlet of Wingdale, around 3:45 p.m., Thursday, June 13. According to Capt. A 30-year-old mom woman is dead following a multiple-vehicle crash involving entrapment that closed all lanes of US Route 30 East in part of Lancaster County, authorities announced on Tuesday, June 4. A 20-year-old was killed after slamming into the back of a tractor-trailer on a busy Connecticut roadway, police said. The crash took place in New Haven County around 8:30 p.m. near Exit 23 on I-84 in Waterbury. Person Struck By Tractor-Trailer On I-84 In Connecticut
A pedestrian was hit by a tractor-trailer and seriously injured on I-84 in Fairfield County. Connecticut State Police said the incident took place around 3:30 a.m., Monday, Oct. 25 near Exit 11 in Newtown. Responding troopers said the person was transported to an area hospital for treatment. The roadway was closed for several hours, backing up traffic for at least eight miles, before reopening later on Monday morning. The extent of injuries was not immediately provided. Massachusetts State Police Cruiser Struck By Tractor-Trailer
A Massachusetts state trooper was seriously injured after being struck by a tractor-trailer while protecting a road construction crew. The incident took place around 11:44 p.m., Tuesday, Sept.. 28 on I-95 southbound near its intersection with the Mass Pike in Weston in Middlesex County. Two Extricated From Vehicle After Crash With Tractor-Trailer In Western Mass
A driver and passenger had to be extricated from their vehicle after being involved in an early-morning crash with a tractor-trailer in Western Massachusetts. Massachusetts State Police and officers from the Chicopee Police Department responded to a crash on Route 291 shortly after 2 a.m. on Friday, May 7, when the car struck a tractor-trailer.
