The incident took place in Stamford around 2:10 a.m., Sunday, Jan. 29 in the area of lower Summer Street. The wounded duo was discovered when Stamford Police officers responded to a report of a large group of people -- approximately 30- 40 people -- arguing and physically fighting with each other in the street, said Capt. Fairfield County Jewelry Store Owner Shot Dead During Robbery, Police Say A Fairfield County jewelry store owner was shot and killed during an armed robbery over the weekend. Mark Vuono, 69, was discovered around 2:45 p.m., Saturday, March 28, at Marco Jewelers, located 16 Sixth St., in Stamford, said the Stamford Police Department. According to police, a customer entered the store and alerted the police after observing evidence of a crime.
