CT Woman Assaulted While Jogging By Man Who Escaped Capture, Police Say A 38-year-old Connecticut woman who was jogging early in the morning was assaulted by a man who approached with a gun. The incident occurred in New Haven around 6:15 a.m. in the area of Yale and Edgewood Avenues. According to Sgt. Cherelle Carr of the New Haven Police, the victim was jogging when the unknown man approached her with a firearm and attempted to force her into a nearby wooded area and struck her in the face. CT Man Charged With Sexual Assault Of Child Under 13, Police Say A Norwalk man has been charged with the alleged sexual assault of a child under the age of 13. The arrest of Ronal Reniery Sanchez, age 34, of Norwalk, took place on Friday, April 21 following a months-long investigation, said Lt. Joe Dinho of the Norwalk Police. In November of 2022, the Special Victims Unit began investigating the sexual assault of a juvenile. After a lengthy investigation, an arrest warrant was issued in March for Sanchez, Dinho said.
