Police: CT Woman Driving Three Times Limit Crashes Into PD Cruiser For the second time in two weeks, a suspected drunk driver struck a police vehicle in the Town of Fairfield. The latest incident happened around 8 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 3 when a Fairfield Police Traffic Enforcement Sergeant was struck by an allegedly drunk driver while working a State DUI Grant on Old Post Road near South Benson Road.
