Officer-Involved Shooting Under Investigation In Stratford An investigation is underway after an officer-involved shooting in Fairfield County. The incident happened around 7:35 p.m. Friday, Feb. 5 during an attempt to serve a felony warrant for domestic charges in Stratford at the intersection of Route 110 and Main Street Putney. The suspect was observed entering a vehicle at which time Stratford Police officers attempted a traffic stop where force was used, Stratford PD Captain Frank Eannotti said. CT Man Faces DUI, Other Charges After Low-Speed Chase An intoxicated 56-year-old man led police on an inching chase, frequently stopping in the middle of the travel lane and motioning for pursuing officers, their lights flashing, to pass him, police said.
