Multi-Vehicle Pileup: CT Man Killed On I-95 Construction Area A Connecticut man was killed in a crash after his vehicle was hit by a truck in a construction area, sending it into a guardrail and down an embankment.  The crash took place in New London County around 9 a.m. on Tuesday, March 4 on I-95 in Stonington. According to State Police, 39-year-old Kevin Hesch of the village of Pawcatuck in New London County, was killed during a three-vehicle crash when traffic began to back up as the lanes merged due to a left lane closure for construction ahead.
