Richard Daviau, the co-owner of a popular steakhouse in Hampden County, died on Friday, Aug. 4, in a motorcycle crash in Florida, his family announced.
Richard Daviau owned Prim3 St3akhous3 in Southwick with his brother and sister. The threes in the name refer to the three siblings — Debbie, Todd, and Richard Daviau.

One Killed In Rollover Crash In Region
A 31-year-old Western Massachusetts man died after losing control of his vehicle on the Mass Turnpike, striking a median, and rolling over his vehicle, state police said.
In Hampden County, troopers responded to a stretch of I-90 eastbound in Wilbraham, where there was a report of a one-car crash involving a rolled-over vehicle with one injured.
Police said that upon arrival, troopers found a vehicle that had struck the median and rolled over, coming to a rest in the breakdown lane, with the driver suffering from life-threatening injuries.

Four Western Mass Residents Nabbed With Cocaine, Heroin During Traffic Stop, Police Say
Three Western Mass men and a woman were arrested on drug charges during a routine traffic stop by Massachusetts State Police.
The two were arrested around 10:30 p.m., Friday, May 21, in Franklin County after Trooper Anthony Lavinge, stopped a black Hyundai sedan for speeding in a construction zone on Route 91 in Greenfield.
According to state police, during the stop, in which the two could not say who the vehicle belonged to or produce a registration, Trooper Lavinge noticed drug paraphernalia on the floor of the vehicle, said state police.
