Man Accused Of Stealing CT Resident's ID To Open Account A 22-year-old man surrendered on a warrant in Fairfield County for allegedly stealing a person's identity to open up accounts for credit cards and cell phones. The New Cannaan Police Department said Angel Arroyo, of Saint Cloud, Florida, located just south of Orlando, surrendered himself to police on an active warrant on Thursday, Aug. 12.  NCPD said investigators determined Arroyo was responsible for the identity theft, which was reported to police on Jan. 29.  He is facing several charges, including third-degree identity theft.  His court appearance was set for the same d…

Covid-19: Bradley Airport Flights Down By 90 Percent - Airline Makes Cuts In light of COVID-19 travel restrictions, flights at Bradley International Airport are down by 90 percent compared to this time last year. By May of last year, the airport had seen 302,763 boarding passengers since the start of 2019. In 2020, so far there have been 27,941 boarding passengers, according to the airport’s flight logs. This plunge in flights has led Southwest Airlines to cut direct flights from the Windsor Locks airport to other locations - except for Baltimore and Chicago. The change takes place in September.
