Brown Cow Escapes From Yard In CT, Goes For Walk A brown cow escapes its fencing in Fairfield County and decided to go for a walk, startling some residents. The great cow escape occurred in Trumbull around 10 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 7 near Old Town Road and Reservoir Avenue. The cow was bought earlier in the day at an auction by an area resident, said Lt. Brian Weir of the Trumbull Police. It was housed in a small barn, and when the owner went to check on it, the cow was gone. ID Released For Teen Killed In CT Crash A Fairfield County teen killed in a single-vehicle crash has been identified by police. Elijah Page, age 17, of Bridgeport, was killed early Wednesday, July 14, when he lost control of his vehicle and hit a guard rail in Trumbull, authorities said. According to Weir, Page, a graduate of Fairfield Wheeler High School, was driving a 1998 Nissan Sentra Southbound on the Exit 7 ramp from Route 8, when his vehicle did not stop before traveling through the intersection across White Plains Road, and onto Old Town Road where the vehicle struck the guard rail. CT Teen Killed After Crashing Vehicle Into Guard Rail, Police Say A 17-year-old has died after crashing his vehicle into a guard rail and then an abutment in Fairfield County. The incident took place around 12:30 a.m., Wednesday, July 14 in Trumbull. Police responded to the crash on Old Town Road after receiving multiple 911 calls, said Trumbull PD Lt. Brian Weir. When they arrived on the scene, they found the teen, of Bridgeport, and began rendering medical aid to him before he was transported to Bridgeport Hospital where he died, Weir said.
