A school district in Fairfield County is reporting that five members of its community have tested positive for COVID-19. The Norwalk Public School District said it was notified of the news on Friday, Oct. 9. A school district in Fairfield County has reported that a person tested positive for COVID-19. The Norwalk Public School District said it was notified on Friday, Sept. 25 that a member of the Columbus Magnet School community tested positive. That person has been instructed to remain home in self-isolation and has been provided with additional instructions to follow prior to returning to school, the district said. Three positive COVID-19 cases have been confirmed by a school district in Fairfield County. The Norwalk Public School District received notification on Friday, Sept. 18.
