26-Year-Old Killed In CT Crash Connecticut State Police are asking for any witnesses to a single-car crash that killed a man on I-95 in Fairfield County. The crash took place in Stamford around 12:25 a.m., Thursday, June 1, on I-95 northbound in the area of Exit 8. A preliminary investigation revealed a 2017 Nissan Rouge driven by Massachusetts resident Emmanuel Pierre, age 26, of Worcester left its lane of travel for an unknown reason and struck the metal beam guard rail in the right shoulder approximately a quarter of a mile north of Exit 8, state police said. CT Man High On Drugs Charged In Death Of Tow Truck Driver Helping Woman, Police Say A Connecticut man who was allegedly high on heroin has been charged with manslaughter in the death of a tow truck driver who had stopped to help a woman change a tire on a busy highway. The hit-and-run crash took place in New Haven County around 6:20 p.m., Saturday, May 21, 2022, near Exit 10 in North Haven.
