CT High School Athlete Dies At Age 17 The community is mourning the death of a 17-year-old Fairfield County student-athlete who is being remembered by friends and family as being an avid lover of the outdoors. Darien resident Matthew Barket McEvoy died on Thursday, March 31. A Darien High School student, McEvoy played on the varsity lacrosse team, and enjoyed mountain biking, skiing, and had an interest in cars - both old and new. McEvoy spent his summers playing tennis, sailing and swimming at the Tokeneke Club, according to his family. Seen Him? Police Issue Alert For Missing Western Mass Man An alert has been issued by police investigators in Western Massachusetts for a man who has been missing for weeks. The Agawam Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in locating Todd Polacco, who has been missing since April and hasn’t been seen or heard from since the end of April or the beginning of May this year. Police said that Polacco, age 54, lived alone in an apartment in Agawam and was not employed when he went missing.
