Connecticut Man Killed, Woman Injured, During Shooting, Police Say Police in Fairfield County are investigating a homicide of a man and the shooting of a woman. The shootings were uncovered around 1 a.m., Friday, Dec. 17, when the Stratford Police Department responded to Light Street near Barnum Avenue. The unidentified man and woman were shot by an unknown assailant, According to Capt Frank Eannotti of the Stratford Police Department. The man was pronounced dead at the scene. Six Vehicles Stolen Overnight In One CT Town Six vehicles, which were left running, were stolen from various locations in one Fairfield County town overnight. Stratford Police reported that the six vehicles were stolen between the hours of 5 and 7:30 a.m., on Tuesday, Jan. 12, said Captain Paul DosSantos. All six vehicles were left unlocked with the engines running and were unattended when taken, DosSantos said. One vehicle was stolen from a gas station and the others were stolen from residential neighborhoods, he added.
