Springfield Crash Sends Five To Hospital Five people in Western Massachusetts were injured during a two-car crash. The crash took place in Hampden County around 5 p.m., Wednesday, March 2 on Leyfred Terrace in Springfield. One of the cars involved in the crash.Springfield Fire Department Springfield fire crews who responded to the crash said the five people were transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, said the Spring Fire Department. An investigation is underway into the cause of the crash.
