$3K Reward: Puppy Found Dead In Milk Crate In CT Police and animal control officials are investigating and offering a reward after a puppy was found shot dead in a milk crate in Connecticut. The puppy was discovered in New Haven County around 12 p.m. on Saturday, July 8, in the hamlet of Fair Haven, said Capt. Rose Dell, of the New Haven Police. Dell said two officers on patrol found the puppy in the crate on Poplar Street. An investigation was started with the help of Animal Control officers who discovered the puppy had been shot.
