3 Young Glastonbury Runners Struck By Car, Injured Three minors were struck and injured by a car while jogging along a Connecticut roadway. The incident occurred in Hartford County around 2:30 p.m. on Monday, April 15, in Glastonbury. According to Lt. Kevin Szydlo of the Glastonbury Police, the three were running near Hubbard and Maple Streets when they were struck by a car. All three were transported to Connecticut Children's Medical Center in Hartford for evaluation and treatment of non-life-threatening injuries, Szydlo said. Three Injured After Fire Breaks Out At CT Home Three people were injured during a fire at a Fairfield County home. The fire started around 9 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 8, at a home located at 646 Hallett St., in Bridgeport. According to Scott Appleby, director of Emergency Management for Bridgeport, those injured were found on the ground in the front of the home and their injuries were consistent with a fall.
