CT Teen Duo Nabbed For Burglary, Police Say Two teens stopped by police have been charged with an alleged burglary in Fairfield County. Authorities say they were spotted by Newtown Police Department officers in a car in the parking lot of a local smoke shop with no headlights and no license plates around 1:30 a.m. Wednesday, July 26. Teen Trio Nabbed After 18-Year-Old Shot In Region Three teenagers were apprehended following a shooting in Western Massachusetts that sent an 18-year-old to the hospital. Officers in Berkshire County responded to a report of a shooting on Brierwood Lane in Pittsfield at about 5 p.m. on Tuesday, April 26, the Pittsfield Police Department announced on Tuesday, May 17. Felon On Probation Stopped While Driving 115 MPH With Loaded Gun On I-95, Police Say A Fairfield County man on probation was allegedly busted with a loaded gun after being stopped for driving 115 mph on I-95. Giovanni Candelario, 27, of Bridgeport, was arrested on Saturday, Jan. 9, after his white 2014 Acura IIx20, was spotted traveling in excess of 115 mph and weaving through traffic on Route 8 South, south of Exit 8 in Bridgeport, said the Connecticut State Police.
